This is the third book in Brayshaw High. I m not a good fan of YA but this series is good, not what you except from normal YA. She is a new author to me, I picked first book in April without even realizing book 2 and 3 are not released. Now I wish, I read all three in one shot. I suggest you read the first two books before reading this review as it may contain spoilers from book 1 and 2. Name of book 1 – Boys of Brayshaw high. Book 2 – Trouble at Brayshaw High.

The conclusion was fantastic, Raven totally blew my mind. Raven is the show stopper in this book. I loved Raven character in other two books but in this, she blew mind. Her dominant and bad-ass personality wins me over again.

I m not at all a fan of Maddoc. I loved cap and Royce in this. The way Maddoc runs at the first push is tough to digest for a hero, but at time we must think they are just kids and its ok to act like that, that’s the only justification I gave myself for Maddoc character. I liked the bonding between Cap, Royce, Maddoc and Raven, it was mostly predictable and expected. But the bonding between Bass, Victoria, Mac and chole was totally unexpected. We knew from first two books that Raven and Bass are connected but their combo as friend was kickass, just loved it and the way Raven let go of him is Awesome.

Even though I expected certain twists its more that I presumed and loved it. The way Raven handles things are super. Plot is extremely gripping.  I did feel at some point the drama was a bit overwhelming and I got confused a little because of information overload and i had forgot some scene from book 1 and 2. The only reason I gave 4.5 is because I didn’t like Maddoc. His character building was not up to the mark.

The storyline is a series of several unexpected events and author has tied all the lose ends well. This book is mostly from dual point of View. I liked several supporting characters, Chole, Mac, Zoey, Victoria, Mac and My god “Bass”. I didn’t know the raven and wolf story, I m intrigued by that, will look for that and speak with naturalist next time I’m in wild 😊. I was captivated. I was totally immersed in this story. I m excited for more Brayshaw especially Royce, but I would love if I get more of Bass Bishop.
