I voluntarily read an ARC of this book in exchange for honest review.

Frenemies by Emma Hart is a standalone in romcom genre. Immy and Mason are quite the pair and watching the two with their prank wars and hilarious banter is so much fun. It gave me a good laugh after long time.

Imogen and Mason used to be friends with benefits during college days. When they finished college, Mason promised he will call but never called. Even though they were aware of that their relationship was not serious, Immy was angry and hurt that he never called.  Now 6 years later Mason moved in next door.

Immy is a starving artist who runs her families art studio and is happy with her life, however her meddlesome grandmother is aware of her and Mason’s history and wants to set them up again. Its not any insta love, the prank and scenarios surrounding their present gave me idea that normal love stories do exists like that😊.

Immy’s grandmother is a woman after my own heart with too much nosey character and I loved her blunt and dirty mouth. she interferes with her granddaughter’s love life to a greater extent. Grandma Jen is determined to find a suitor for Imogen before she dies, and unfortunately for Imogen, she’s got her sights set on their new neighbour.

Mason is now a hotshot Lawyer and a father of cute little 4 year old. The pranks and bicker between both of them will keep you entertained through out the book. This book is full of witty dialogue. Mason’s little girl, is the icing on the cupcake and she provides the cuteness factor to their story.

It was cute and laugh out loud book. It’s an easy going read. Looking forward to Hannah and Isaac’s book next! It’s a cute, lighthearted, fun rom-com and I enjoyed it so much! Go ahead pick it and enjoy reading.
