I voluntarily read an ARC of this book in exchange for honest review.

This is the first time I am reading and reviewing Annika Martin’s book and I am excited that I am reviewing “The Billionaire’s Fake Fiancée” because it turned out to be totally different than what I expected. It made me laugh out loud like a lunatic several times in a book.

Tabitha is a hair dresser and currently suffering from a setback in her business due to repetitive stress injury in her wrist. Rex is a self-made billionaire by managing other people’s assets. He runs his own firm now. Now he is looking to bag Driscoll account but they have asked for a review. Rex and Clark think it’s due to his playboy image. To repair that image and impress Driscoll owner they come up with a plan of fake fiancée and accepts Driscoll’s invitation to spend couple of weeks in a yacht.

Tabitha ticks of all the items in Rex’s hate list. Tabitha is lively, cute and feisty with bubbly personality along with an extremely positive attitude who loves hello kitty and Soap opera’s. Rex is jerk, control freak being brooding, growling and grumpy.  They are polar opposites of each other. Tabitha takes his dull and boring world by storm and fills it up with love and laughter. This story was a laughing, smiling and warm adventure. It didn’t have a single dull moment. In the yacht, Tabitha senses a scammer and tells Rex about it. Rex doesn’t believe her and she tries to prove him wrong.

“Scammers have special radar for each other. They have Scam- dar”

Totally loved Tabitha’s bubbly & lively character. The humor of this story comes in the form of Rex and Tabitha’s banter. The integration on Hello kitty and Soap opera along with cute hot pink barbies, lively bubbly character made this delightful read. Well written with steady plot and pace with lovely secondary characters.

Over all, well-written story with delightfully entertaining RomCom. Can’t wait to see what happens with Noelle and Malcom in the next book.
