I voluntarily read an ARC of this book in exchange for honest review.
This book has been the most awaited conclusion for Edward and Celia’s Story. I was completely immersed from start to finish. It’s an intense roller coaster ride. Celia’s redemption and evolution has been excellent. These two are perfect for each other. They challenge each other and the dynamics between them only gets better each time they face one another.
Laurelin proved all my assumption’s wrong. I thought, Edward will tune down a lot after Celia’s mega reveal in book 3 end. Edward won’t bend down a bit, so would Celia. Fell in love with Edward more and more. They have both kept their secrets and try to deal with everything by keeping their secrets. Edward and Celia both have to look deep inside themselves, come to terms with what exactly they want in life and what they need from each other.
How will they take their future ahead and life together ahead when last piece of secrets are shared.? With so many ghosts from their past being reappeared, will they be able to slay them together?
Secondary Characters– I haven’t met Alayna and Hudson before, I’m intrigued enough to know about their story and totally loved the way they became a part of Celia and Edward for their closure and bringing them together. Hope to see more of Hagen at some point. Genevieve was lovely.
Overall, finale to this series was absolutely delicious. With all their ups and downs, Celia and Edward showed us that even the most devilish of characters can be redeemed and deserve love.
Series
This series portraits a unique relationship between two imperfect flawed people. Celia and Edward have come a really long way since Rivalry, and it shows. I went from not knowing them both, to loving them with every fiber of my being; Celia’s story is simply tragic. And although her actions were borderline crazy and dark, you see more layers as to why she did and what she did. Her evolution from Rivalry to Raising was extraordinary. Totally loved their unique sessions with each other to know there deep honest feelings. Overall, it’s a fantastic & captivating series with emotions & right amount of suspense. This is a heartfelt story of redemption, forgiveness, evolution and love. Pick it up and enjoy as its been completely slayed.
