Ruthless Bishop(Sinners and Saints #3) By Veronica Eden

Title: Ruthless Bishop(Sinners and Saints #3)

Author: Veronica Eden

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐3/4

Type: Standalone

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Narration: Dual POV

Primary Characters: Connor & Thea

This book is third installment in the Sinners and Saints series. This book brings a soft and passionate romance along with a bit of suspense surrounding the lives of these main characters. We got a glimpse of Connor and Thea in Tempting Devil; in this we get to know them better. We could peek into Devlin and Blair’s life some more in this book.

As the blurb says, Connor is silver lake’s blackmail king and Thea is a shy, nerdy girl. Book starts exactly as described in blurb. A one mistyped number lands Thea in Connor’s radar. We see Connor in different light here than what we saw in other two books. With his broken family and anger management issue he still seemed sensible, confident and self-assured guy. Thea is exactly as described in the book. Sweet, cute, next door neighbor. Thea’s longing to be seen still being invisible was totally relatable to several girls who struggle with self-image issue.

Individual characters were good. Relationship development is good. They were adorable, but I wouldn’t have minded seeing them blossom slowly for some more time. Suspense element was surprising. Totally loved Devlin and Connor friendship in this. They had each other’s back during difficult times. Devlin, Blair and Connor trio just rocked. This book even deals with some serious issues of how innocent adolescents fall prey for scammer. It was handled and dealt well. I would have loved to know more about crow guys. They came and just vanished without any hint. I just couldn’t accept or digest the fact of not knowing anything about Crows. That was one major downside for me.

Narration style is simple and easy to understand. Plot moved in steady pace initially and it got fast paced 3X times in the end. Liked seeing other silver high students. Maisy and Fox were intriguing. Can’t want to see what author has in store for them.

Overall, great addition to Sinner & Saint series. If you are a fan of this series, don’t miss this sweet, passionate romantic suspense.

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book in exchange for honest review.

Everyone has something to hide.

Thea
I was invisible until I wasn’t.

One mistyped number became the catalyst to my hell on earth when I accidentally sent a risqué photo to the blackmail king of Silver Lake High. Now Connor Bishop holds it as a bargaining chip over my head. I’ve become his doll, at his mercy in a corrupt castle.

Better do as he says or else, or else, or else…

His thumb is on the send button every time I try to buck his command. Can I survive a private photo going viral instead of living this life of torment?

It’s not right. Maybe it’s time his castle burns down.

Some lies are more dangerous than others.

Connor
Meek. Shy. Wholesome.

Thea Kennedy was picture-perfect innocence until she wasn’t. The unexpected photo is the juiciest secret to land in my lap in a while. Who knew she was hiding luscious curves under frumpy sweaters?

With one racy selfie, Thea stepped into my world, where I control the board. I’ll trap the little mouse and won’t let her escape the depraved kingdom I built.

But there are darker monsters than me lurking in the shadows. They want to take a bite out of my little mouse. I don’t like sharing what’s mine.

Warning: Ruthless Bishop is a dark new adult high school bully romance with romantic suspense elements intended for mature readers. This book is part of a series but can be enjoyed as a standalone. The Sinners and Saints series boys are all devilish antiheroes brought to their knees by a spitfire heroine, so if you love enemies-to-lovers and hate-to-love type stories, you’re in the right place. This mature new adult romance contains dubious situations, bullying, blackmail, stalking, a predator, crude language, and intense sexual/violent content that some readers might find triggering or offensive. Please proceed with caution
