It’s an awesome series. I’m in love with this series. I have loved watching Katy’s and Daemon’s characters grow and mature over the course of the books. However, conclusion was slightly disappointing to me as I was expecting big war action scenes, yet an amazing end to series.
Book starts exactly where Origin ended. DOD’s biggest fear has come true with Luxen’s invading earth. It’s time to choose sides and fight in this survival war. Nothing is same and it becomes impossible to tell friend from foe. If they have to survive this invasion they have to team with unlikely enemy. Prepare yourself for good amount of actions and battles. Everything came together in the end and made for a very satisfying conclusion to this long series.
We meet several new characters in this. Characters were the best part of this series. I loved meeting Hunter and his brothers. This turn of events of meeting up with Hunter, Serena and Lore was grand and I was more than happy to catch up with them for a bit. I would like to know more about Arum.
Luc and Archer are gems. Luc is weird, but good-weird. I hope I will get to know more about him in some other books. Archer is Fabulous. Dee is ok ok, I didn’t like her, in the mean while I didn’t even hate her. Dawson and Beth’s moments were touching. I was hoping to see them more in action, which didn’t happen but I understand the turn of events it took. Katy and Daemon were at their best. They were perfect together.
Narration is good. However, the final war action scenes weren’t as per my expectation which made me give slightly less rating. I did like the banter, the friendship and the love – it’s been an awesome journey.
So here we are, at the end of astounding series. This is unputdownable, swoon-worthy and action-packed alien mojo series. it’s glorious. If you haven’t started this series yet, the pick it up and enjoy this beautiful roller coaster ride.
