Dark Harmony(The Bargainer #3) By Laura Thalassa

Title: Dark Harmony(The Bargainer #3)

Author:  Laura Thalassa

My Rating:  🌟🌟1/2

Type: Series – Book 3

Genre: Urban Fantasy, Magical World

Primary Characters: Callie, Desmond

 Narration: Dual POV

As I said in my pervious review, I was intrigued with mystery of “Thief of Souls”. I wanted to know who it was. The strange behavior of those silent children, situation of kidnapped/missing men, casket women were interesting, but it wasn’t very satisfying conclusion. At the end I still had lot of open questions on why thief of souls acted the way he did.

To summarize this book, it was more smut, lot of inner monologues and less action and plot. The storyline seemed to drag on and on while I was just waiting for more action. People were dying and our main protagonists went on vacation. Plus, there was tons of unanswered questions that were just glossed over.

I liked that Callie and Des worked together a lot more in this book. “Thief of Souls” has set his eyes on Callie and it’s time for Bargainer to make some bargains.  Like other 2 books in series this also has action only on last part. I have nothing much to tell. I m happy that the series is over.

Except Janus I didn’t like any other secondary characters. It became annoying and I started cringing when Temper would enter a scene. Writing style and narration is ok. It needed lot of editing. Language is horrible even in this.

Overall, it was an alright end to the series, though it could’ve been longer and more plot revelatory than smut.

There are worse things than death. Things that lurk in the shadows and slip into your dreams. Things that have no business existing. Things that once slept … but have now awoken.

For Callypso Lillis, the fae magic that now runs through her veins is equal parts curse and good fortune. For the very thing that bonds her to Desmond Flynn, the King of the Night, also makes her vulnerable to the Thief of Souls, a man who wants to break the world … and Callie along with it.

But it’s not just the Thief whose shadow looms over the Otherworld. Des’s father is back from the dead, and he wants revenge on the son who sent him to the grave in the first place.

Des and Callie must figure out how to stop both men, and time is running out. Because there are forces at play working to tear the lovers apart once and for all … and unfortunately for them, death is no longer the worst thing to fear.
